Athletic Association
The mission of St. Michael’s Athletic Association is to promote and inspire life-long physical activities that build a healthy spirit, mind and body.
St. Michael’s Athletic Association has been serving the St. Michael Parish and Shrewsbury community for more than 50 years in conjunction with the St. Louis Catholic Youth Council (CYC) to teach the fundamentals of soccer, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, golf, track, baseball, softball and t-ball.
Team sports can help participants develop an understanding of God’s continuing love for them and their value as an individual. Through our teams we try to cultivate a spirit of trust and concern for others. Our approach is based on respect–respect for self, respect for learning, and respect for each other.

Volunteering typically includes working a shift in each tournament typically in the concession area or as assigned.
